TrailBLAZER

In a shrewd move in the world of fashion couture, my 3 year old son, Gregory Jr has decided to wear a blue blazer every day of his life.

His blue blazer is worn over pajamas.  It is also worn with Jeans, exercise pants (Pictured Below), shorts and the ever-popular underwear only.  We call that the “Business Stance minus Pants.”

Now, I’m not quite at the point of concern yet.  After all, kids are wild and boys will be boys.  But in all reality, this thing is going to go one of two ways.

1)  This whispers the beginnings of an Alex P. Keaton, Young Republican, destined-for-success future shining in front of my little man.  Look out Gordon Gecko.

2) (More Likely) This screams “crazy person”.  I’ve witnessed the “Blue Blazer goes with everything everyday” much more often in the Garden-Variety hobo than I have in white collar America.

So, I’ll continue to encourage Gregory Deuce in his individuality, but I’m praying for the best.  PLEASE put him on Wall Street and not doing 3 Card Molly at the Lindbergh Marta station with a Tuxedo on.  I don’t know if his mom can handle that.

Plus, this blazer is starting to smell.

Life Don’t Rhyme,

Greg Manchild Owens
